I can't recommend this training enough! I came in to this training one person and left another. Being invited to see my ego and the being presented the tools to create new possibilities has been just a gamechanger in my life! This program also helped me breakthrough the obstacles I needed to overcome to maintain a daily mediation practice; cultivating this practice has helped me be such a calmer, more joyful and more productive person!   Brittany and Cat both bring so many unique gifts to the table. Brittany's ability to weave the lessons of yoga into our journey really keep the lessons of yoga alive throughout this training. Learning the difference between leading and teaching has been so impactful in my growth as a yoga teacher.  Cat really helped me push past a lot of limiting ideas of who I thought I was as a teacher; being able to weave stories throughout a yoga class was something I would have said is just not for me going into this training. Now I feel as though I can present in almost any style with enough preparation. Being taught to read bodies has helped me design and deliver more customized classes, that really cater to my particular students' needs.  If you felt like your 200-hour YTT just scratched the surface of knowledge and you want to deepen your practice or your teaching: take this training.
Module Descriptions
All weekend modules are intended for current yoga teachers who have completed a 200 hour training program that included an anatomy module and for those who have a basic understanding of alignment. While each weekend will have a different emphasis, they will all be layered with asana, meditation, and inquiry practices.
Picture
Weekend One: Ahimsa/Non Violence | Satya/Truthfulness | Muladhara/Root Chakra
This first weekend of the 300 hour training will be facilitated by Brittany is all about reintroducing yourself to your practices. Practices of asana, meditation, listening, leading, and teaching as a direct impact on your entire life. The entire weekend is an invitation to get out of your default ways of practicing and being, both on and off your mat, as a student/teacher/leader/human.
Picture
Weekend Two: Asteya/Non Stealing | Bramahcharya/Non Excess | Swadhisthana/Sacral Chakra
This weekend will be facilitated by Cat and will be focused on embodied experiences of your energetic anatomy (Chakras, Koshas, and Bandhas) and the philosophy of yoga. In addition to asana, meditation and inquiry, you will explore your Dosha and the sister science of yoga, Ayurveda, and dive deeper into a practical application of the yoga sutras, including navigating the 5 Kleshas, and a true understanding of both karma and dharma.
Picture
Weekend Three: Aparigraha/Non Possessiveness | Yamas Review | Manipura/Solar Plexus Chakra
This weekend of the training will be led by Brittany and will have a heavy emphasis on mechanics and delivery in teaching techniques, leading meditation, adapting your leading for pregnant bodies and leading others in the inquiry process. As with all of the weekends, this weekend will be very physical and you will have breakthroughs in the power of specificity and repetition in your practice, teaching, leading and life.  You will be guided through the process of creating a powerful way of inviting your students to bring their asana practice off their mat and into their lives.
Picture
Weekend Four: Saucha/Purity | Santosha/Contentment | Anahata/Heart Chakra
This weekend, led by Cat, will review the basic understanding of the body and how it moves within a power yoga class. From there, you will dive deep into individual poses and tease out how the muscles move the bones in and out of alignment and how best to give your students tools to maximize physical results and minimize risk. This weekend will level up your teaching game and give you the power you need to create physical transformation in your students. You will take your anatomy knowledge and apply it to yoga sequencing. You’ll be given the tools to start to build even more powerful classes through intelligent and intentional sequencing.
Picture
Weekend Five: Tapas/Self Discipline | Svadhyaya/Self Study | Vishuddha/Throat Chakra
This will be an exciting weekend facilitated by Brittany filled with discoveries as you learn how to powerfully and effectively LEAD a yoga workshop, PROMOTE a yoga workshop and EXECUTE a yoga workshop. We will discuss the business of yoga as an extension of, and as it relates to, the eight limbs of yoga. You will also have an opportunity to share your teaching of a full asana class with the group.
Picture
Weekend Six: Ishvara Pranidhana/Surrender | Niyamas Review | Ajna/Third Eye Chakra
This weekend will be facilitated by Cat and will be focused learning the practices and technologies of Himalayan Kriya Yoga. You’ll learn how to practice and teach 7 Kriyas that align with your chakras and the Chakra Balancing Kriya that works with all seven energy centers along your spine. In addition, those who have maintained a consistent meditation practice for a minimum of 21 days, will be initiated into Kriya 1, a sacred practice that is only passed down orally and be given a special Bija Mantra to meditate with.
Picture
Weekend Seven: Sahasrara/Crown Chakra
This weekend will be the culmination of the program with a weekend full of connection, celebration, and vision setting. You will witness yourself in a whole new way with a new level of mastery as a yogi, teacher and leader. You will share your service project with the group. And you will leave this weekend with the ability to confidently lead a full length yoga workshop from Welcome to Thank you for coming!
After attending Cat and Brittany’s 300 YTT in 2022 I became more connected to the teacher I could manifest. The rigor and regime was nicely balanced with philosophy, teaching methods, anatomy and Sutras. The awareness of my shadows came to light so I could have more insight as a good leader.  Recently I auditioned in a new studio and I was confident in my intention and instruction.

This 300-hour program changed my life and helped me grow as a teacher so much. I didn't know what to expect but it was so much more than I imagined.  I loved the special attention to inclusiveness. The workshops dedicated to minority groups and trauma-informed yoga were eye-opening and helpful. I felt so prepared to pay special attention to how this shows up in my teaching.
This training was hard, so hard and I am forever grateful for the impact it has had on me. The special attention to detail in every training weekend showed!
Both Cat and Brittany brought so much experience, knowledge, patience, humility and kindness to the table.

~January 2021 graduate
I was very hesitant about having my 300 hour in the United States because my first training through another studio was not very supportive. This training went above and beyond my expectations. I am grateful for our amazing leaders Cat and Brittany, who brought us through our training, and the time they took to lead us with the best knowledge and experience. I have grown so much as a person and have so much more hope for Western Yoga after this training.

“Brittany took me on a journey to find my authentic self.  That journey was a rollercoaster ride at times, but she was in the seat beside me the whole time.
My ability to show up as my authentic self impacts the way I teach yoga in a profound way.  My students have commented on how much more present they have become to their own yogic journeys.  I have to believe it’s because Brittany demonstrated in her own life how the yoga really begins off the mat.  I’ve internalized that lesson and have been truly transformed.”
Brittany and Cat are exceptional Facilitators and Leaders in the Yoga Industry and I'm grateful I have had the opportunity to study under both of them. They are open, honest and truly passionate about what they do. They live their lives by example and it shines through in their work and authenticity as students of yoga. They each offer their own set of knowledge and skillsets to make this training well rounded and worth every cent!
