How to use props to empower your practice!
👉🏽Do you feel too inflexible, or not strong enough, to try some of the poses teachers call in yoga classes?
👉🏽Do you struggle with chronic wrist, shoulder, back pain that inhibits your yoga practice?
👉🏽Want to know how to use blocks/straps to support you in going deeper into poses?
This workshop offers adaptations/modifications for most of the poses we do in our Empowering Flow classes at CCYOGA.
Brittany Hopkins, CCYOGA owner/teacher, with a background as a dancer/mom/human/40 something, that has practiced through wrist/hip/shoulder/back injuries and a 9 month pregnant body with parts hindering movement and speed, shares practical tools in how to adapt the practice to support you in staying in the flow wherever you are physically today.
You need:
2 yoga blocks
1 strap (or belt or long towel)
FREE for all Unlimited members ($20 for others)

Adapting the Power Yoga Practice for Pregnancy
Recorded Workshop
CCYOGA studio owner/teacher, Brittany Hopkins, did power yoga at Container Collective Yoga in Lakewood, CO all the way up until the day she went into labor with Isaac at just shy of 41 weeks of pregnancy. It was a very creative 9ish months for her yoga practice.
In this workshop she shares some of the adaptations she made to being able to stay in the flow of a power yoga class at the studio without loosing integrity of what was healthy for her body/baby during that time. |
