How do I do the program?
- Make a 7 day commitment.
- Here's what to expect:
- Before or shortly after you get out of bed in the morning grab your journal and follow the prompts listed below (3-5 minutes).
- Add 5 minutes into your morning routine to sit for a 5 minute guided meditation offered below.
- Schedule when in your day you will do your 20 minute physical asana yoga practice. (Maybe on your lunch break or right after work.)
- 1/8" or thinner yoga mat (the thick squishy exercise mats make balancing a challenge).
- Straight back chair
- Journal/Journaling app (I use the Day One app)
- Yoga Blocks and a Strap are optional and super helpful.
Morning Inquiry Practice
Write in your journal:
Morning Meditation Practice
Create your seat in a way that you are able to sit up tall without having to engage muscularly to stay upright
Write in your journal:
- Right now I'm feeling... (Fill in the blanks with any physical/emotional sensations)
- I am grateful for... (Fill in the blanks with anything from, "having a bed with pillows and blankets" to people or situations in your life.)
- Today I am open to the possibility of feeling... (Fill in the blank, not with the feeling you necessarily expect to feel or think you should feel. Simple what would be nice if you did feel, regardless of what you have planned for or happens in the day ahead.) Example: I'm open to the possibility of feeling ease as I move through my day.
