This place is beautiful and has a really good vibe and community feel. They give out lavender cold towels at the end of class for shivasana and it feels so good! Nice little touches like that. Went to my first yoga class here and cannot wait to go back! I had never tried Baptiste/ "hot" yoga before, but the instructor made me feel incredibly comfortable. There were varying levels of yogis in my class; as someone coming with mostly "youtube"/free community yoga experiences I felt unjudged and completely at ease to challenge myself. Today my body feels sore but so strong. Empowering! Oh yea, and there are 2 dogs at the studio... Double win!  --Emily Holohan
I am a newbie and this is the second yoga studio I have gone to. Everyone is super friendly (very neighborhood/small-town feel) and well informed. Also, the space is really comfortable and they are doing something right with their heat (I got light-headed and had to leave the room at ANOTHER place). This is a great community studio. The “slow flow” is challenging but welcoming to beginners! Teachers are friendly and approachable, and so are the other students. The cold washcloth with (optional) essential oil at the end of class has me hooked.  --Elise Seebach
I started coming to CC after moving to Lakewood earlier this summer. After practicing Baptiste style yoga for two years, I was hooked, and was anxiously hoping to find a new studio that could bring me the peace and strength I've discovered through other yoga establishments. CC is truly, truly awesome! All of the teachers are wonderful, the classes varied, and the energy authentic, fun, and non-pretentious. Brittany is the yin to my yoga yang! With her calm, steady cadence she guides you through your practice while offering non-judgment as you approach each pose at your level of comfort. --AC B.

Brittany is kind and thoughtful.  She makes the new learner feel comfortable and builds on the practice of advance students.  She demonstrates the different modifications so you can benefit through each movement.  She is easy to understand and knows how to approach each individual so you always leave with something that you accomplished and/or learned. Brittany was an angel …always kind and warm…exuding enthusiasm for everything she did. She endeared herself to all of her colleagues by putting on a weekly yoga session after work….it was amazing. Brittany Hopkins was my first full time yoga teacher, she inspired me in ways I can’t even begin to describe. She helped me overcome many obstacles both on and off the mat. She was my inspiration to become a yoga teacher, which I now am. She allowed me to step up and help lead the class sometimes and be an example for those who needed guidance. She is a true gift to the world and I will forever be grateful for all that she has taught me. She was not only my yoga and dance teacher, but she is a friend and roll model. Brit was both my dance and yoga instructor all throughout high school, and she’s the kindest, most patient teacher I’ve encountered so far. Brittany Hopkins is an outstanding yoga instructor. Her classes are challenging, but suitable for people of all abilities/levels. I always felt pushed beyond my comfort zone, and not just physically. She encouraged me to try more challenging poses that I didn’t even know I could do, like Crow and Headstand. She connects mind and body beautifully throughout the entire lesson, reminding students to love their bodies and the world around them. —Liz K.

Ms. Hopkins is the reason why I dance! I had never danced and never thought I would until 4 years ago when she was highly recommended to me by many people! Brittany Hopkins is a special person who spreads joy and positivity in everyone she encounters. This is especially apparent in her yoga instruction. As a relatively inflexible male, I can attest to the fact that Brittany does an excellent job of “meeting each student where they are” and helping them grow. There were some poses that I could not get into, but Brittany was always there with suggestions and alternate poses until I could. Yoga classes for men can be both humbling and intimidating, but never feel this way with Brittany; as with any great coach, she believed in me more than I believed in myself. As mentioned in a previous review, the success and likelihood of me returning back for class after class is directly tied to the instructor. I’d done my fair share of yoga in multiple cities before moving to Denver to start over. The first practice I had when my feet landed on the ground here was with Brittany, and I’m so thankful for that! She’s helped me get back into a daily practice and is the patient, kind and knowledgable yogi I wish everyone could experience. Whether you’re a beginner, someone getting back into the swing of things, or looking to try Baptiste yoga as something different, I cannot recommend Brittany enough! I was fairly new to yoga when I met Brittany and I didn’t have a lot of confidence in my yoga abilities. Fortunately, Brittany is an incredibly patient, supportive and encouraging instructor. I improved a great deal from taking classes from her. She is super knowledgable and experienced and inspired me to believe in myself and what my body could do.
