Check out the transformation in John's downward facing dog pose in our last weekly private lesson...
Picture
What's going well in the photo above?
John is spreading his fingers wide and pushing down through the base of his pointer finger knuckles.
He is also spreading his toes wide and pushing down through the big toe mounds.
Picture
What's even better about the picture above?!
He walks his hands forward and bends his knees to create more space for his spine to lengthen.
Picture
The next thing he does is pull his shoulder blades together onto his his back and presses his chest towards the back of his mat.
Picture
Then he tilts his pelvis so his sits bones point up towards the ceiling.
Picture
Last but not least, he pulls the out of his belly towards his spine!!!
Picture
What a huge difference a few adjustments can make!
